AL-WARISEEN TRUST [PPAB-01/2013], is a non-profit organisation registered under the Legal Affairs Division (BHEUU) in the Prime Minister’s Department working in the field of Islamic knowledge empowerment, charity and youth development.


Defining traditional Islamic understandings in a modernised way, this organisation aims to promote peace and harmony through the genuine teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ  in a meaningful manner. Seeking to correct the abundant misconceptions in Islam, Al-Wariseen Trust adapts a moderate approach that befits the reality of times.


Appreciating collaboration and collectiveness, the organization aspires to contribute to the welfare of our society without concern for their social standing, race and beliefs by assisting the needful in many profound ways by working with compatible foundations for a legacy of greater deeds. The main objective of Al-Wariseen is to be involved in the activities that promote the understanding of Islam and the true teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as well as to contribute to the welfare of Malaysian society without concern for their social standing, race and religious beliefs.



The mission of Al-Wariseen is to raise and distribute funds to programs that relate to the teachings and understanding of Islam, civic and community, education, humanities and health.  Al-Wariseen aims to become a centre that enhances the physical and spiritual wealth in the form of knowledge or in kind, to either the rich or the poor.  A non-profitable spiritual corridor but profitable to its attendees.

The former 5th Prime Minister of Malaysia is endowed with vast and wealth of experience in many areas of concern such as political, religious, social work, youth development, academic, humanity, health and family development.


His contributions are numerous and these can be reflected in the awards and recognitions received locally and internationally. His contribution to social justice and leadership development is clearly depicted in the changes and reforms executed in Malaysia, especially in fighting corruption and reducing poverty as the whole.  Inspired by his grandfather, a renowned Islamic scholar in Makkah, Sheikh Abdullah Fahim, Tun Abdullah continues to spread the love of our beloved Rasulullah ﷺ by advocating the true teachings of Islam in a practical manner.


His humbleness, care and concern for the environment, health amongst children, women and the older is paramount. His concern and promotion of Islam, through a moderate approach, augurs well with the objectives and spirit of Al-. Al-Wariseen Trust is indeed honoured to have YABhg. Tun Abdullah bin Haji as the Honorary Patron.

Al-Sheikh Al-Sayyid Afeefuddin Al-Jailani

Hailing from the prominent Al-Jailani family, a well-known family in the Islamic world especially in Iraq,  he is the 19th direct descendant of Sultan Al-Auliya (King of Saints) Al-Sheikh Abdulqadir Al-Jailani Al-Hasanai Wal Husseini and the 34th direct descendant of Prophet Muhammad, Sayyidinna Rasulullah ﷺ.  His great-grandfather, Al-Sheikh Abdul Qadir Al-Jailani was recognized by Islamic scholars as the most universally acclaimed and celebrated saint and Sufi Master of all times.


Sheikh Afeefuddin studied with many Islamic scholars and the most prominent and notable among them was the late Mufti of Iraq, Maulana Al-Sheikh Abdul Karim Al-Mudarris who had certified Sheikh Afeefuddin as an Islamic scholar by Al-Ijazah Al-Elmiyyah which is one of the most important and highest certification for an Islamic scholar and teacher in the Islamic World.  Sheikh Afeefuddin has been invited and participated in numerous Humanity and Islamic seminars and conferences to explain the Modern Islamic Studies/Research in the Middle East, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, India, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, Europe, Fiji, New Zealand, South Africa and the United States.
